Gorgeous self timer that screw into shutter button, with barely a scratch on it. Its simple design and ingenuity is just breath-taking! We want to keep this beauty, just holding this tiny piece of history is a joy! Add self timer to vintage camera.
Match it with Leica, Rollei and other models of that era.
The Case does have marks and signs of use but does not effect its function in protecting this fantastic equipment.
The Haka Autoknips is a mechanical self timer, made by Friedo Wiesenhavern and Heinrich Klapprott in Hamburg, Germany.
The need for selfies is almost as old as photography itself. The majority of antique and vintage and some 35mm film cameras, especially in the medium format branches, are missing one thing: a built in self timer.
The first Haka Autoknips (Modell 1) was introduced in the early 1920's. The idea itself is even a little bit older: A simple clockwork mechanism, pulling down a release of an ordinary cable release.
As with all antique items, it is very difficult to completely guarantee it's condition. However it seems to be accurate and fires the pin as it should.
We always have stock waiting to go on so if you are looking for something in particular please ask we can often help.
All items are carefully checked, cleaned serviced so the item reaches you in the best possible condition. Please not that items of this age often have the odd mark and these are shown in the photos or in the description. You have 30 days to check the item yourself and if there is anything you are not happy with you can return for a replacement, repair or refund.
