The Minolta Auto Meter series was able to measure flash starting with a revision of the Auto Meter III.

After Minolta exited the photo market, Kenko started releasing the final three Minolta meters under their own brand name.

Auto Meter III is a digital electronic exposure meter with a silicon photo cell. The previous Auto Meter line were Cds meters, with a calculator dial. This meter is powered by 4LR44 or equivalent batteries.

This is far more accurate that phone apps and much more useful.
